Black History with a Powerful Message! Peace Be Still is the first play released by Playhouse Ministries in 2004 because of it's Present Truth. On September 20, 1958, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was attending a book signing in Harlem when an estranged woman walked up to him and asked him if he was Dr. King. Once he answered yes, she stabbed him in the chest, almost killing him. Peace Be Still is an exciting skit about the days following the attack. The entire play takes place in Dr. King's hospital room. It's clever technology will make preparing for February a snap. Requires 3 main characters (Dr. King, Coretta, and Dr. Maynard) plus 4 unseen spokespersons. Approximate running time is 15 minutes.
